Christine  Edwards is a native of Jamaica and a transplant to South Florida for by way of New York. She graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University and went on to the Einstein College of Medicine/Yeshiva University in New York City.

She opted to pursue a career in Medicine in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology/with a sub-specialty in Maternal Fetal medicine ( caring for patients with high risk pregnancies), a field that she has enjoyed for the past 34 years.

She started in film photography while living in NYC and has participated in the digital photography realm since the 1990’s, her first digital camera being a Nikon Coolpix 900 1.92 megapixel).

She has honed her skills by reading, observing the masters and by trial and error. Her favorite subjects are patients, friends, and family , especially her 2 sons, recent granddaughter Violet and 98 yo mother- also named Violet who completed her college degree just 2 years ago at 96. 

She loves to travel and spends a lot of time, documenting her trips while her husband has patiently supported her passion. She is very grateful to be able to share these pictures from her trip to Cuba in 2018 using the Leica M (Typ 240) and CL. She transitioned to Leica many years ago and has never looked back.
